Disgusted at the lack of keyboard tabs on the net, I decided to submit many of my own. Now, forgive me if these don’t sound right, as I picked them all up by ear, so if you find that my tablatures prove to be erroneous, send to dazed_42@hotmail.com I’d like to mention this song is better played in the sixth octave. Also, the words in brackets are words from the song from which the part of music I am writing is derived from and (for the music illiterate) the number and the ‘va’ in the triangular brackets means which octave to play on. Also, octave changes are always noted before a new set of notes. This tab is based on the guitar of the song, not the bass, or the singing, so play along to the guitar. It would prove useful to listen to the song a couple of times before playing. I have written numbers under the notes you play. This indicates the value of the note, eg; 4 under C means the C is held for 4 beats. If a g is written under a note, that means it is a grace note (you don’t have to play these if you don’t want to, they just make the song sound better.) When I have written two or three notes together, that means it is a chord or triad or is held together. When I write a # next to a note, that means it is a sharp and when I write a b next to a note, that means it is a flat. And finally, this was tabbed on a 61 key keyboard. Thus, on a keyboard, the keys start at a C note and end with a C note, so for me, every octave began at a C note. I set out to make my tabs as simple as possible. If you have trouble understanding this, contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
