Advantages and disadvantages of package holidays
As more and more people begin to travel package holidays are becoming a very popular choice. But despite all the hype many other people like to organise their holidays by themselfs. The prices of both ways of holiday organising do not differ too much and have their advantages and disadvantages.
Surely one of the benefits of package holidays is not having to worry about all the details. When the travel agency, if it is trustworthy, arranges every single element of your trip you can be sure that there will be a hotel room for you and the insurance will be paid. Many people have not got the slightest idea where to go nor what to do. In the case of package holidays they do not have to be out of their mind with worry, becouse it all has been settled earlier. Those types of voyages can also be more interesting and safer. If you have chosen what you like you certainly will not be bored.
One of the disadvantages of package holidays is their invariability. You go on the trip and you have to stick to the set programme and you cannot change any element, whether you like it or not. This kind of free-time spending is nothing for the individualists. Another deficiency is the rife omission of the most interesting places. Package holidays have a fixed price so even if you find a cheaper and equally comfortable hotel you will not be able to save any money. And last but not least most of the package holidays have a previously set date and that is a drawback becouse many things can happen and you can lose your money.
Without being tub-thumping no one sholud be able to persuade you to choose package holidays. The decision must be made by you, considering all their ups and downs.
