Advantages and disadvantages of beards
Beards are not so popular as they once used to. That fact may be coused by many factors but nevertheless that type of facial hair still has it's amateurs. Having a beard is criticised by some, but others have nothing against it. So the voices are devided.
The first obvious advantage of having a beard is the fact that some men just look good with a beard. And every male wants to look attractive so a beard can be a serious visual boost. When you get older a long grey beard can give you a certain wisdom-emanating look. A beard is also something for the "not so active" or those who really do not have the time for nothing. Trimming a beard is an occupation that takes up less time than traditional shaving. A beard can also be a very useful type of "utility". When you do not know what to say or do it is always better to scratch your beard than just to look stupified.
But the choice whether to have a beard or not is not so easy and that is becouse of the disadvantages. The nitty-gritty is the lack of acceptation for beards in certain social groups. So if you do not have grit to grit your teeth during a job interview or a buisness meeting you better not grow one. A totally different case is the unconvience during intersexual meetings, also known as dates. A beard can be a serious nuisance during exchanging fluids, also known as kissing. Besides, while eating bits of food can fall into the beard and you will not feel that. And the site of food decomposing in somebodies beard is certainly not a enjoyful one.
So as you see the choice is not so easy as it may seem at he begining. Many advantages and disadvantages make you think more on that existentional problem.
