Advantages and disadvantages of boarding school education

Boarding schools are present in every bigger city. Surely many people attend them, it is a well known fact. Of course there are good sides nd bad sides of going to such a school.

Let us begin with the advantages. The first one is giving a chance to students, who live far away from the city. Driving to school for over an hour every day is not very convenient. Students, who want to attend a specific school are not forced to go to the one in their town. Another advantage is freedom for pupils. As everybody knows students do not like being controlled by parents or, as a matter of fact, by anybody. Being among people in their own age is also a benefit. It is easier to find some body with similar intrests, somebody after your own heart. Parties organised in the dormitories are loved by everybody. The atmosphere is fabulous and everything what happens there is misted up.

Where are advantages, the must be disavdantages. One of them is the price for some schools. In our country money, especialy for people from smaller towns, is an important issue. Anothe minus is not knowing with who you are going to spend the whole term. Living in the same room with somebody who is slovenly can be far more than just a nuisance. Putting up with sucha person is ont a enjoyable acitivity. Parents will certainly have doubts considering not being able to see nor supervise their child. Some boarding schools have very strict regulations, which are not accepted by some students and sometimes are ridiculous.

So as you see education in boarding scools has its ups and downs. this text is not suppose to talk you into picking a school like that, you have to decide yourself.
